SPT Technology

Active’s diode laser utilizes Active’s developed SPT-Laser technology, which controls the pulse pattern according to skin color, hair color, density, treatment depth and other factors. The SPT-Laser technology provides high intensity short pulses, taking into account the treated tissue’s Thermal relaxation time (TRT). The precise concentration of laser energy enables efficient coagulation of hair follicles, excellent treatment results and minimized patient discomfort. The SPT-Laser technology requires improved laser diodes capable of delivering high intensity laser pulses. For improved safety, Active’s diode lasers are equipped with a unique safety feature that prevents unintentional triggering without the laser touching the patient’s skin. This unique feature eliminates the need to press a foot switch while pressing the handpiece’s triggering button and will not allow laser energy to be discharged – unless it is aimed at the target area. This way the therapist work is easier and the treatment is safer for all present in the treatment room. The high intensity and short duration laser pulses of Active’s diode laser makes the treatment efficient and suitable for various skin colors.
